3D scanning generated great interest at hi15
Zebicon experienced great interest in 3D scanning at hi Scandinavia's technology & industry expo, held from September 22-24, 2015.
3D scanning has become an acknowledged and widespread industry standard, and this was definitely noticeable at the recent industry expo in Herning. Zebicon exhibited in hall K for sub suppliers and attracted a broad target group with two different stands.
This year Zebicon presented the two-star hi-mark news ATOS ScanBox, which created great interest. Many visitors could see the advantages of making quality control an automated and efficient process.
Zebicon had also brought other measurement systems to meet the needs of the many different visitors at the expo. "We had good discussions with both existing and potential customers regarding our general solutions and about more specific challenges" explains Ole Mortensen, project engineer at Zebicon.
Walk of Innovation gave even more exposure
Zebicon was also represented at the Walk of Innovation. Demonstrating live scanning and different part types, the visitors were introduced to the applications of 3D scanning. They saw the many details captured by the cameras, and how data can be analyzed and used in further processes.
Also many students showed interest for 3D scanning. ”We experienced many students who already had knowledge of 3D scanning, and who wanted the technology incorporated in the technical studies. Exactly this is possible for the educational institutions with our solution ATOS for Education, which was also presented on the Walk of Innovation” concludes Ole Mortensen.
In general Zebicon was very satisfied with the industry expo and the number of visitors.
