On the 10th of November 2022, Zebicon is hosting a conference focusing on automated solutions for quality control.
The conference ’ScanBox in Production Control’, is for companies who want to get insight into how 3D scanning can optimize the quality and measurement process.
Zebicon has planned an interesting day, filled with technical presentations and live demonstrations of various automated solutions. Among other things, the participants can look forward to seeing the new ZEISS ScanBox 5130 in action. This system is particularly suitable for large items and fixtures, as it can 3D scan components up to Ø3000 and 2 tons.
Customer experiences
At the event, users from Danfoss and Grundfos will talk about how they use 3D scanning in production environments and share their experiences from the automated ScanBox solutions.
Presenter Abel Dukai says,” The scanner is so fast and easy to use that we can literally verify component dimensions while we manufacture, which is not possible with CMM technology”.
Abel Dukai is a mechanical engineer at Danfoss Power Solutions, and he will talk about how using 3D scanning has taken their quality control of joysticks to a completely different level.
